voyage-classic.com is operated by The trustee for M & E Ter Horst Family Trust (ABN 36 499 736 043), trading as Voyage Classic (Voyage, we, us). This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and delivery and billing addresses.
  • Order details: what you buy, return or exchange, and your order history.
  • Payment details: payments are processed by Shopify Payments. We receive confirmation of payment and limited card details (such as the card type and last four digits), not your full card number.
  • Communications: anything you send us by email, form or social media.
  • Website use: information about your device, browser and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technology.

How we use it

  • To process, deliver and support your orders, returns and refunds.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer service.
  • To send you marketing emails, but only if you have signed up to receive them.
  • To run, secure and improve our website, and to prevent fraud.
  • To meet our legal obligations.
  • To measure our advertising and show Voyage ads to people likely to be interested in them.

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails to people who have signed up, for example by joining the Convoy. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us by email to stop. We will still send you emails about any order you place.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments.
  • Klaviyo, which sends our emails.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which helps us measure our advertising and show Voyage ads to people likely to be interested. When you visit our website or place an order, Meta receives information about the pages you view and what you buy, and your contact details (such as your email address and phone number) in a coded form that Meta uses to match them to its own accounts.
  • Google, which provides Google Analytics and lists our products on Google Shopping. Google receives information about how you use our website and what you buy.
  • Australia Post and other carriers, to deliver your order.
  • Our professional advisers, such as our accountant, and anyone we are required to share it with by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Information stored overseas

Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta and Google may store and process your information outside Australia, including in the United States and Canada. We use providers who protect personal information to a recognised standard.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technology, such as tracking pixels, to:

  • keep your cart working and remember your preferences;
  • understand how the site is used, through Google Analytics;
  • measure our advertising and show Voyage ads, through Meta and Google.

Visitors in the United Kingdom, the European Union and some other regions see a cookie banner and can accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies. Wherever you are, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can control the ads you see in your Facebook, Instagram and Google ad settings. Parts of the site may not work properly without some cookies.

Security and how long we keep it

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@voyage-classic.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the United Kingdom or European Union, you may also ask us to delete your information or to stop using it for certain purposes.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please email us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
